Faculty will summarize current research supporting opioid-sparing and multimodal pain-management strategies during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. The session will also introduce a new national guideline to help clinicians provide patient-centered\, evidence-based pain management and reduce unnecessary opioid exposure.
