2026 Committee Application Deadline

We’re seeking passionate new members to join our OBI committees! Help shape the future of the Obstetrics Initiative by serving on one of these important teams—and earn a scorecard bonus point for your service. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds to ensure balanced representation.

• Clinical Data Abstractor Committee: Improve data quality and advise on clinical definitions and workflows.
• Data, Measures, and Publications Committee: Align OBI measures with quality standards and guide analysis/reporting.
• Executive Committee: Oversee activities, advise on strategy, and promote OBI in the maternity community.
• OBI Labor Support Committee (NEW in 2026): Launching in 2026, the Labor Support Committee will bring together OBI RN Champions to advance nursing’s role in quality improvement. The committee will advise on workflows, education, networking, and strategy, and will include subcommittees for Labor Dystocia, Maternal Request, and Induction of Labor. Learn More.
