Bringing our Patients COMFORT: Implementation of a New Clinical Practice Guideline for Pain Management after Childbirth

This webinar will review the latest evidence on the risks of opioid prescribing after vaginal birth, cesarean delivery, and related obstetric procedures. Faculty will summarize current research supporting opioid-sparing and multimodal pain-management strategies during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. The session will also introduce a new national guideline to help clinicians provide patient-centered, evidence-based pain management and reduce unnecessary opioid exposure. Participants will gain practical strategies they can apply directly in clinical care.
